Mentors of the workshop are Andrej Štular (visual artist and puppeteer) and Nika Erjavec (intermedia artist and scenographer). Participants will learn about different possibilities of using light as an expressive art medium, and public space as an open format performative venue. During the workshop we will explore the relation of performer, object and (public) space. Participants will work in the realm of object and shadow theater, combing found objects-materials and animating them with light to create interactive light impressions in site specific context. Participants are encouraged to bring forgotten objects and scrap materials (broken umbrellas, nets-fabrics,..).

Workshop is conceived for students and adults (18+), but also high school students (14-18) can apply. Interested in participation should apply by e-mail with their full name, age and phone number …
