The light installation entitled The One Who Is Watching Us… builds an arc between Černigoj’s artistic expression and Kosovel’s literature; namely, it is an interpretation of his poems Kons Icarus and Dead Human. Černigoj’s interpretation of Kosovel’s self-portrait is expressed on the surface of the vase as sequins, which watch us all the time like Kosovel’s eyes and confirm his revolutionaryness, originality, modernity, relevance. Life grows from the vases, just like from the blue logo of the NLB bank. Just as Icarus rises from the ashes to a new life, also the project entitled The One Who Is Watching Us… hopefully gazes into the future, in which transformations have become a constant and part of our metamorphoses, which we enact all the time through everyday consumption. The One Who Is Watching Us... , in this consumption, is thus our transaction account. /B. Beja/
